1953 Packard Clipper Deluxe
Description
Selling my grandmother's 1953 Packard for less than it's worth. It spent many years in her San Antonio, Texas garage after she was unable to drive. Then my aunt fell in love with it, converted it to 12V and added an air conditioner under the dash and ultimately restored it in the 1990s. She drove it in parades and on trips to Arlington, TX to visit my father until she couldn't drive anymore, and it went back in the same garage. When she died my father gave it to me. I put it on a flatbed trailer and brought it to Washington State. I fixed a stuck lifter, converted the starter to 12 volt (the last thing that was still 6V) and drove it around for a few years. It has the original spoke wheels. I felt I couldn't sell it while my father was alive. I let it sit too long, and the fuel line got gummed up. My father died, and it seems like the time to let it go. It has not run in two+ years and is under a flexible waterproof cover. Paint and chrome is peeling in places. I have an original 1950 Washington license plate with the '53 insert so you never have to get a new license plate. No title - not running. Dent by gas cap - see photos. I will sign a quit claim. You haul.
