Description

This is a 1948 Packard Sedan. This was purchased from an insurance company with some minor exterior fire damage. The paint has been singed and discolored from heat on the top and the top of the doors. The interior is untouched and in excellent condition. There are new seat covers and the door panels are good. The front windshield glass and the glass in the left doors are cracked from heat. The rear glass is good. Mechanically, the car is very good. It starts and runs very well. There is an exhaust leak that will need to be fixed. The car drives well and everything works. The engine, clutch and transmission are good. The trunk is complete. The gas system has just been rebuilt with a new tank and fuel pump. Most of the chrome is good and will polish. This is a very unusual car that shows a lot of care and maintenance. You can paint it your color and have great driving classic at a reasonable price. If you need a small project this is for you. Delivery is available. A rebuilt title for street licensure is available. Please call John with questions (314) 378-3109.
