Description

The 1954 Packard Pacific Hardtop coupe manufactured for only one calender year. This Model was exclusively manufactured as a 2 door Hardtop for 1954 only. This rare breed was the replacement for the Mayfair, only to be succeeded by the 1955 Packard Four Hundred. Only 1,089Pacifics were ever produced with approximately only50 left in the world. This vehicle was a ONE family car until I bought it from Sierra Classics in Reno Nevada.
Excellent Paint, body, and chrome. Clean Original interior with Leather. Drives straight and true with lots of power. I purchaced in late 2016. Recent work during my ownership to include: New Battery 9/2020, rebuilt generator, rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt original fuel pump and new electronic fuel pump backup with switch, Pertronix Electronic ignition, Engine scope and carb tuning, rebuilt entire power brakes system, differential lube and pinion seal, Radiator cleaned and checked, rebuilt entire hydraulic power window system. New Coker radial white wall tires, alignment and front end inspection. The first restoration was completed by the original owner to include.... Complete engine rebuild in the mid 1990's. Same time-frame for chrome work, and paint/body that was stripped to bare metal. This is a no accident car. A catalog of pictures of the original restoration will be provided to the new owner.
There is currently a small oil leak that looks to be from the oil pan. A new gasket will be provided to the new owner. There was also a small coolant leak coming from the block near the distributor which was sealed with internal chemical sealants via coolant system, neither of these have affected the drivability. The car is currently in Chandler Arizona with a LOW RESERVE.Good luck & Happy bidding!!!!!
