1938 Plymouth P6 Touring Two Door Sedan Project Potential Stock or Rat Rod
Description
1938 Plymouth P6 Touring Two Door Sedan Project. This is a great project start! Let me start by saying that there is more parts and pieces than what is shown in the photos. This car is in my best estimation at LEAST 92% complete or at least there for patterns. The only thing I know for certain this car is missing is the running boards. I have the bumpers (need chrome), stainless trim, headliner bows all four steel fenders, original seats with partial mohair upholstery, all glass is good with exception to cracked drivers vent window glass, radiator reportedly redone, drive shaft etc... The following items have been chemically stripped and are currently stored inside: All fenders, hood, hood sides, grille, headlight housings, tail lights, trunk lid, window moldings, dash etc. I am sure I am missing stuff here but if you are concerned or want specific answers, just ask... Original "Repairer" License Plate also included!! I also have a ton of extra parts both mechanical and cosmetic like extra intake and exhaust, carbs, head, gauges etc that will accompany the sale. Original keys, and new trunk handle lock and keys etc. When I bought it, it had been partially disassembled for 27 years. Sadly it has been 10+ years with me and all I accomplished was chemically striping the parts I was storing indoors to understand metal condition. The overall metal condition is good in my opinion in fact as the grille photo shows, this car was once shown at the Fairfield County Connecticut Horseless Carriage Club of America per the badge with a really super LOW participant number of 21!!! However, there is some rust as one might expect for a car of this age. A few holes in the inner rear fenders, and the trunk pan is basically gone and the front pans have some rot as well, pics should show it... The rear skirt (gone/replaced with failing fiberglass) and bottom of the trunk lid also need help. Front drivers fender has been hit but repairable for certain. Considering the age, it is not too far gone if you ask me. Anyway, come and get this oldie but goodie. Bring your trailer or send your help to retrieve and I can assist with whomever shows up to take her away. Georgia is a "Bill of Sale" state so the eBay invoice should suffice for a Bill of Sale questions or concerns just ask.... I truly believe you will be amazed with the quality and amount of items that accompany this sale. $500 Deposit Due via Paypal within 24 hours upon winning auction. Car should be picked up within 14 days of deposit, remainder of the sale price due in cash at time of pick up. Any and all other arrangements and provisions to be determined and agreed to in writing. Bid to own with confidence.
