1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Convertible
2nd owner car.1 of 429 Automatic convertibles made in 1970. Car was reviewed in detail by Galen Govier who's company GTS completed new fender tag.original build sheet found under rear seat was in great shape for its age. Damaged invoice was found in the console.Car completed a rotisserie restoration in 2013. Every nut and bold was either replaced or restored.Body was in typical shape for its age and received new floors, trunk, wheel houses, quarters and inner fender.Epoxy primer painted and PPG FK5 Burnt Orange Metallic applied by Northeast Restorations. All chrome and stainless redone professionally by a local shop. Motor was professionally rebuild (Bored .060) new cam, pistons, crank, lifters and heads (518 Close Chambered).Transmission was professionally rebuilt. Engine Block, Transmission and most other large parts are completely original to the car.Other Items professionally restored:Dash and instrument cluster (Performance Car Graphics), Heater Controls (Performance Car Graphics), New Holley Carb (I still have old one and it will go with the car), New Electronic Ignition (I still have dual point distributor and it will go with car), Stainless Steel (Nu Chrome), Chrome (Nu Chrome, Advanced Plating), Engine (Chrysler Certified Master Technician) Original Block, (518 Close Chambered Heads), Transmission (Chrysler Certified Master Technician), Wiper Motor-Jules, Heater Controls (SMS Auto Restoration), Emergency Brake Assembly (SMS Auto Restoration), Heater Box (SMS Auto Restoration), Body-(Northeast Restorations), Dash-(Just Dashes), Interior (Legendary Auto Interiors), Exhaust-(Accurate Exhaust Products) Stainless, Brake and Fuel Lines:Fine Lines Stainless. This is only the major list.Much was spent with Year One, Paddock, Jacks Auto Parts, Mr G's and many more vendors., The car was put back to its original condition with a few minor modifications:Dust Trail Stripe, Performance hood paint, Chrome magnum 500 wheels 3 of which have minor rust starting 1 is new. This is a high end restoration completed by a professional shop with detail paid to all original parts.
