Description

1951 PLYMOUTH Cranbrook

**This is a Unreal car, locally owned since bought new, have documentation**

Description – This auction is for a RARE car that you will ever find. Have documentation, that car was bought new here in Roane County, Tn. and has been here all it's life, NEVER in a field, driver up till 1994, then stored in a building till late 2009, then strarted some of the modification to make this car a real DRIVER. List below of work. ALOT money spent on the Suspension, drivetrain etc.. BUT, it is a driver with NO worries.

ENGINE: NEW GM crate 350 engine, (295 h.p.) witha 350 turbo transmission. All NEW transmission lines with cooler. HEI distributor

Car was bought NEW here local in August 18, 1951, then sold local with 64K miles in 1980, the got sold here local in 1989, which then got drove, then stored in a garage till 2009, and have copies of titles and paperwork that shows that also.

The Plymouth Cranbrook name came from a city in British Columbia, only made from 1951-1953, it has a higher level of trim package than normal 1951 Plymouth.

Vintage Heat/Air, and is ice cold

NEW 9" Ford Mossier Rear-end with a 2:75 gear

NEW Aluminum Radiaotr and fan

Painless wiring throught

NEW Battery in trunk

NEW Sumitt Carbeuator with choke

Heidts Front Suspension with Power rack, swap bar and Power brakes

Tublar Upper and Lower A-arms, with a 2" drop

Disc brakes with 11" rotors

Ceramic coated headers, still like new, has powder coated valve covers and breather

Under hood is all painted gloss black, and looks very good

He fabricated the panel where the fan is to the radiator, with just a whole for the fan, all enclosed, very neat, ALL stainless bolts under hood.

Smooth firewall, painted gloss black

BODY/EXTERIOR: - Original body panels, trim and beileve glass also, looks very nice

Original trim and looks almost new, bumpers look very good, not new but amazing shape

Doors, trunk all shuts good and tight, NO water leak inside, trunk leak is very little, I mean little

NEW wheels and tires 225/70/15 and 215/70/15 with caps (Have orginal hubcaps, look good)

Black Paint, looks good, NO rust very solid car, could maybe be buffed, but very good driver quality, maybe little better, just being picky, well it is 66 YEARS OLD.

INTERIOR: - It has the Factory look, Original, seats, headliner, door panels and all hardware and works very good.

One peace carpet kit, tucks under dash

All windows roll up/down

Tilt wheel column, Auto meter gauges-Original radio (doesn't work) Looks good though

Wipers work

Glovebox open/closes very smooth

Dash is original meduim grey and looks great, with the after market gauges to keep an eye on all fluid levels and pressues

THIS IS A AWESOME CAR THAT LOOKS ORIGINAL FROM THE 50's, but by far a better driver than back in the day, and underhood, is no way factory.

EXTRAS: This car was built with ALL NEW suspension by a local guy and he is prob. the best around, everyone takes stuff to him to do, he is VERY picky and does things right. He built this car to drive and everything he builds is road ready with no worries. We hit the interstate and ran 85 MPH, with air blowing cold, and NO problems, I Gaurantee you can drive this car home.

ALL lights work, tail-lights, headlights, parking, brake lights, blinkers, even tag light, and ALL gauges work like they should.

I have a folder and copies of orignal aperwork from where the lady bought it NEW, and then the next 2 owners, until now. Plus papers on manulas of work done, like the Tublar A-arms, painless wiring, Vintage air, dropped sindles, Disc brake conversion kit, HEI distributor etc..

Didn't want to waste pictures of the paperwork to show that car was bought NEW locally in August of 1951, and the transfers in 1980, 1989, 2009 etc.. I can send proof of that if you want to verify. Thanks
