1971 Plymouth Roadrunner 340 4 speed N96 Air Grabber GTX
Description
1971 Plymouth Roadrunner with its Factory 340 engine and 4 speed manual transmmission painted in its original bahama yellow and air grabber induction hood. There were only 438 1971 Roadrunners built with the 340 engine and manual transmission. This roadrunner has spent most of its life in Nevada and is a completely rust free car and still retains all its original body panels.
I believe the Roadrunner was painted about 10 years ago and still looking good. The carburetor is a holley direct replacement for this application and is running very well. I drove the car quite a bit today and this car really goes well and the mechanical secondaries are working great. The brakes work very well and also drives very well. One of the floor pics shows that there is oil from the transmission tail shaft or something... But the car does not leave a drop of oil in the garage. The clutch and shifter works great. This roadrunner is a very good car. Please keep in mind that the only bad feedback I received is from an eBayer that demanded a check was as good as cash and demanded I release the car with check. Bid with confidence as you will not be disappointed.
I do have the correct number Thermoquad that we be included with the car. Also I have picked up a pair of exhaust manifolds and NOS heat riser kit which is also include in the sale of the car.
I have verified myself that the VIN is stamped on the block and transmission. I was told LA cars do not have a build sheet. I do have other paper work along with a lot of receipts. I do have the original owner's name and phone number.
I reserve the right to end the auctuion at anytime. Car does not get release until funds have cleared. This roadrunner is registered and insured to me. RI is a non-title state for these old vehicles. Vehicle sold as is with no warranties. I will make vehicle available for inspection. Thanks for looking and please no trades.
