1951 Concord Used Manual
Description
This 1951 Plymouth coupe is a true survivor car. The odometer shows 21,600 miles. They are are believed to be the correct miles. In the drivers door jamb, there is all the oil change stickers from through the years. The stickers do state the mileage on them. This car has had one repaint at some point, but when checked with a paint meter it indicates no sign of patchwork done. The pictures of the underside show that the inner rocker panels and floor are solid and have not been patched. All of the trim is original and does show some signs of minor pitting. The interior is all original and does not have any rips or tears. A box in the trunk has seat covers that were on the car when we purchased it. We believe that the covers were on the seat for most of it's life considering the condition of the original seat upholstery. The flathead six cylinder starts right up and has a smooth idle. It still has most of the original green paint on the engine block. The three speed transmission shifts properly and the clutch seems very strong. All four brakes are working properly. The master cylinder has recently been rebuilt. An opportunity to buy a car like this does not happen very often. You can drive this car the way it is or do a minor restoration and take it to shows.
