I am not a car expert, but I will try to describe the car to the best of my ability. I purchased this car from a gentleman in Canada 4 years ago and IMPORTED it to my home in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia, PA. There are 75,460 miles on the odometer. I put ~840 miles on the car in the 4 years that I owned it. I originally thought that the speedometer and odometer were in kilometers, but I was corrected by some Mopar experts that this is in miles. The car does not appear to have any rust, though I am not a car expert and have never looked at the underside of the car. I will gladly provide photos of the underside if you are interested.
This car is beautiful inside and out. There are some minor flakes & small scratches in the paint, but nothing serious. Interior seat covers are beautiful, look original, but may have been recovered...color is brown with tan accents. Door panels are original and beautiful.... In incredible shape! The interior dashboard and speedometer are in beautiful shape....the carpet is a bit faded, but still looks pretty good. I basically used this car 6-8 times/year to take my kids on a "joy ride" or to take them to breakfast/lunch when the weather is nice.
When I purchased the car in 2013, I had my mechanic go over it to be sure that there were no safety issues with it if I was going to be driving my family in the car. The Mechanic did ~$1200 worth of work (including repair and replace of idler arm & strut rod bushings, adjusting the brakes, and work on the exhaust, muffler, and tail pipe). I have not had to have any other work done on it in the last 4 years and ~800 miles.
I have many more photos and can provide to you via email upon request. Please schedule time to see the car before the auction ends.
Minor issues include:* Convertible top is in good shape, but there is no plastic window in the back. I never had the top up, so this was not a big deal for me. When I had it in the garage, the top was kept down and I covered car with dust cover.* Cover for convertible top (vinyl "parade cover" that covers the top area when it is down) is showing its age & has a tear in each corner. I can provide photos, not serious or expensive as this has buttons on it to cover the top area.* Carpet is showing its age as the brown can look dark orange in some places* Leaks transmission fluid
I have a 5 minute video of the car on YouTube. You can search for it, just posted it about a week ago. Feel free to email me if you would like me to send you the link to this youtube video
Feel free to come look at the vehicle. I can send more photos of specifics if you would like.
The car is being sold "as is" and the final buyer is responsible for paying for transportation costs after the vehicle purchase.
$500.00 deposit is required within 24 hours of the winning bid.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE PHOTOS/VIDEO OF UNDERCARRIAGE OF THIS CAR, I CAN PROVIDE A GOOGLE DRIVE LINK VIA EMAIL. I TOOK CAR TO SHOP AND HAD IT PUT UP ON A LIFT SO I COULD TAKE PHOTOS FROM INTERESTED BIDDERS. PLEASE PROVIDE EMAIL
