Description

1971 Barracuda originally a California car, made its way to the second owner in 1975 who still lives in Salem Oregon, and owned it up until 2009. The second owner who I have been in contact with, painted and striped to look like a Hemi for his wife. She drove it sparingly .It was then sold to a gentleman in Maryland. From what I understand the this new owner wanted continue the process of cloning into a Hemi. Proper surface repair was done to the fender gills, and rear window areas. He purchased a new AMD Shaker hood w/pin holes and inserts, bubble hood scoop, cable kit, complete hood pin kit, new dual exhaust tips, rocker panel moldings, rear trunk wing w/stanchions, cut out templates, gaskets, bumper guard fillers, battery tray, tray hold down, wiper fluid bottle, front fender spoilers, and finally the beginning of a white interior to include both rear window panels, bucket seat backs, and front pillar moldings. All of these part come with the car. Originally a vinyl top and have all the moldings and clips. Interior has rip and tear free buckets, and rear seat. I also have a what I believe is a factory replacement 1970 383 complete, but rough and locked up engine that goes with the car. There is no date on the block, but there is the number 70. I will look into that tomorrow.
The engine 318 / 727 and drive train has never been removed. The undercarriage is as dry, rust and rot free as it gets. It retains its was factory undercoating. Hood, doors, trunk, front and rear floor boards are rust free. This barracuda has all of its factory sheet metal and has never been in an accident. The trunk pan and extensions are in place and rather solid but will need replaced for proper restoration. The rear lower quarter panels show signs of minimal bubbling. All glass is in very good condition. The engine and drive train are in good working order although a little tired and in need of a rebuild or transplant. Car starts and stops and has been driven. Perfect candidate for a rotisserie restoration or build as you wish. All lights and gauges work. Have all four rally wheels(these were add on's) I have original fender tag and found the factory build sheet behind the seat in tact. Feel free to ask good questions as my time is limited for responding quickly do to a heavy work schedule. See pictures. Please don't ask the reserve price, and no trades. Clear title in my name. Buyer responsible for shipping. I would seriously consider finishing this car, but time is not on my side.
