The engine is aGM 350 V-8, with an Edelbrock carburetor, and Edelbrock valve covers. Transmission is a GM TH400 automatic, connected to a 9" Ford rear end. A frame mounted fuel cell and AN fittings provide the fuel. Front suspension is the original leaf springs, and the rear is comprised of leaf springs and air shocks. Drum brakes front and rear, with a floor mounted, Sprintcar style master cylinder and pedal. The steering is right hand drive, with a reverse Vega-style box withside drag link. Dual stack style exhaust exits right behind the cab.
The truck fires up and runs and drives great. Custom wire wheels are powdercoated orange, with radial tires up front and bias tires in the rear.An electric fan helps keep it cool, with an on/off switch mounted on the dash. The top has a vinyl section that is removable for an open air driving experience. It has a windshield, but no rear window glass or door glass. It has the original headlamps, and aftermarket tail lamps, all in working order.
Exterior of the truck is a perfect patina, with visible welds from fabrication. Very good looking rat rod.
