1953 Plymouth Cranbrook Coupe
Description
1953 Cranbrook Coupe, the only items i am not sure if i have are the hubcaps and air breather. Engine starts and runs fine off an auxiliary fuel tank, i never got around to flushing the fuel tank in it. The old BB carb needs rebuilding, it has a minor leak and from the way it behaves i think the float is dropping in it after idling for 20 minutes or so. The charging system in it is new, still 6 volt. No major dents or rust except for the usual drivers side floorboard which will need replaced. I have the interior door panels also but they arent good for much other than making a pattern to cut new ones. What little i have driven it on the property, brakes seem to be working fine although i would probably at least flush and refill. The passenger side rear wheel is stiff, i dont know if its a wheel bearing needing replaced or if the brake on that side is dragging a bit but that would need attention before it went back on the road. I had intended to make a little street rod out of it but when i got the old flathead running and it being so complete i just couldnt bring myself to start cutting on it so here it is. Ive got too many other projects and this old girl just keeps getting pushed to the back burner. Located in north central Arkansas,, not the end of the world but you can see it from here. Vehicle is also listed locally.
