1947 Plymouth convertible

Description

This 1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe convertible is an older restoration that has held up well. It has a few variations from original which are rear air shocks, front seat belts, and a split exhaust manifold making dual exhaust. Additionally an electric fuel pump has been added in line with the original, so that it may be applied for easier initial starting or in the event of a vapor lock, although that has not been a known issue. The air shocks must be set as desired using a Schrader valve located in the trunk. All gauges appear to work although accuracy has not been tested. The radio and heater fan either do not work, or I was not smart enough know how to turn them on. The lights all work with the exception of the right fog light. The paint is mostly in very presentable shape with a few areas of cracking at seams, the worst being at a fender seam near the left headlamp. The underside has road dirt and such from years of enjoyment, but everything appears in very solid presentable condition. The odometer reading is not verified as actual, but car condition indicates a low milage and well cared for car. While no longer a show car in all respects, this is a very very solid car with excellent appearance, that still would receive awards at local shows. Both the original horn and the accessory 'bull' horn function well. There is an auxiliary battery disconnect.
