Greetings, I like your car--please explain the rare mounding option to me--I haven't seen one before. Was this special ordered?

New message to:ilm65 | Hello, I have been involved in the Muscle Car and Collectible Car Hobby for over 40 years, all brands, with Mopars on the top of the list. I have friends who have so much knowledge on 62 - 65 B-Body Mopars, they could write a book, and everyone agrees, they have only seen one other satellite with the rare moulding option. I am not the original owner of this car, however if I had to guess, who ever ordered the original car must have had a connection in Chrysler to special order this combination.

Hello, I love your car, What is your bottom line price? About 5 or 6 years ago, there was a Satellite convertible that went through the Meacum auto auction that had the same molding on the car, which I never saw before, there were 2 bidders battling over the car, I think the car went up to $65k but didn't hit the reserve. I wonder if this was the car They said it was one of 3 cars built with the molding option. I am making an offer, I hope you accept. Larry |

Make an offer, I haven't decided on a bottom line price. I don't think it was the same car at the Meacum auction, when I purchased the car it needed total restoration, I put over $45,000 in resto cost, it wasn't in the condition to go through a Meacum auction before I purchased it. But, yes the Moulding is very rare. Mark
