This Sport Suburban has never seen a winter. All electrics work except dome light. Exceptionally clean early 1970’s C-Body example Original window sticker and a deep pile of service records included. Original 15" steel rims and all four nice hubcaps included. Original valve covers included. Now the bad stuff: Stitching on driver's side front seat coming loose (See photo) Fuel door has small dent, Tailgate has small dent (See photo) trim on RR wheel well dented, trim on RR door has some small dents (I had planned on sending the trim to a restorer in Wisconsin but never got around to it) Only rust on entire car is a 1" x 2" bulge on rear of driver's side rocker panel below wheel arch dog leg (See photo) Dome lights stopped working. Speedometer bounces 5 mph either way from 15 - 45 mph then smooths out. Some fine scratches on roof and driver's door lower door jamb. Third row foot well carpet a little tatty Pin hole leak in steel transmission cooling line (I plan on replacing the line). Entire right side was professionally repainted with new wood grain vinyl applied (Dad's vision was getting bad and he managed to lightly scrape the right hand side on hedges along the driveway). Once the cooling line leak is fixed I'd drive it cross country with no worries. I invite anyone interested to personally inspect this Sport Suburban. Please do not bid unless you intend to pay as a winning bidder. If It doesn’t sell here, Dad’s great grand kids will have a parade car. We have a deep emotional investment in this car.... My father ordered it and bought it new and I've been it's co-caretaker for it's entire existence so it's pretty much a "One Owner" vehicle. My Road Runner went in for warranty service the week of my senior prom so Dad let me borrow The (new) Wagon... Still have my prom date and The Wagon. We took this wagon to an Alice Cooper show later that week. Mom and Dad toured the Rockies in it and watched sunsets from South Mountain in Phoenix in it...Gonna miss the old girl.... Retiring & downsizing. To quote George Harrison, “All Things Must Pass”. NADA Classic Car Value Guide 1974 Plymouth Suburban Sport 4 Door Station Wagon 9 Passenger as equipped (400 CID engine and Air Conditioning) = $18437.00 In summary, If you are very interested, it would b best to take a look at her in person as she is a 42 year old survivor and has hauled three generations of my family. She isn't perfect by any means otherwise I'd ask for a price closer to her top NADA value. But she IS definitely cool and a very good example of early seventies MOPAR.
