Description

Up for sale is my 1971 440-, matching numbers automatic GTX. Having had this car for 3-4 years, I bought this car from a man up north who knows his RR and GTXs and began to pull the motor and transmission with the dreams of restoring it. Never came to pass. I have not touched it since it too its place in the garage. As best as I can tell, most all parts are there as shown in pics but no guarantees.. The motor is compete as far as I can tell but the heads have been changed for some reason. Carbs are there but have not checked dates but will if you are interested. The numbers on the motor match the vin as well as the double fender tags are original and match. The transmission numbers are supplied in the pics and i am told it matches cause I dont read trans numbers. The fender tags are there but rusty yet readable but the prior owner had them remade already as shown in the pictures. Car does have its build sheet as shown in the condition shown. Car was made with many options including the missing Go Wing as seen with the original trunk lid holes. I may have one I can sell with the car separate if you would like after the sale. The car interior is in excellent shape with the floors looking to be in great shape as well as the trunk pan. Those seat stripes are not original but I think they look so classic 70s. The car itself is in my opinion in excellent shape, with rust limited to where it is shown. The underside looks excellent as shown. It was my plan to simply put the motor and trans back in and drive the car but time and $ make things change. I have more pictures than i can list so if you want them, send me your email or ask for a specific shot, i will be more than happy to oblige. Reasonable reserve on this one but it will remain a mystery so please dont ask. I am listing a 1970 T/A matching numbers Challenger as well so a package deal reasonable offer for both may work to save on shipping. Again, any questions do not hesitate to ask.
