Original 1941 Plymouth P12 Special Deluxe Woody Woodie Station Wagon
Description
I am selling my late husband's pride and joy, his 1941 Plymouth P12 Special Deluxe Woody Station Wagon. He was the second owner and has the original bill of sale. Woody was purchased in May of 1941 and taken off the road in 1947, then barn stored until my husband purchased it in 1975. It was then stored in our barn until he retired in 2001.
Woody is 99 percent original. It was repainted in the original color of West Point Gold, seats have been recovered, the canvas top and running boards have been replaced and of course the tires. The chrome bumpers have been replated. My husband refinished all the wood, inside and out. All the wood is original. There are less than 38,000 miles.
There are a few flaws. The right front passenger window has a crack and there is a bb hole in the second side window on the left side. Not bad for a 75 year old vehicle. Photo #9 is the original bill of sale. Photo #10 is vehicle as found in 1975.
He enjoyed taking Woody to car shows and events and had won many trophies.
Hagerty Insurance Company has appraised the value and insured this vehicle for $100,000.
Buyer is responsible for picking up or arranging for transport of vehicle.
I am by no means an expert but will gladly try to answer any questions you may have.
