NO RESERVE..........1972 Satellite Sebring, Original 318/AT Now equipped with era correct 440/727 Posi. This car is a dry Western and rust free time capsule. Mostly original paint and original body panels. All the critical areas: Frame, floors, trunk, and rockers are rust free and in amazing condition, still showing original undercoat.
Mechanically this car runs and drives great, everything works as it should, right down to the trunk lamp and AM radio. There are no issues with the Powertrain, the 1973 440 engine runs quiet and smooth with no major leaks, smoking or noises, the 727 transmission is tight and shifts firm, and the 8 1/4 rear differential is quiet and the posi works good. A correct and complete 8 3/4 is included with the car.
Some of the recent work done when the car was taken out storage last year include: Brand new vinyl top, carpet, headliner, dash pad, fuel tank and sending unit, carburetor and complete dual exhaust system. Lots of brand new correct parts have been installed. The engine has has a complete tune-up and all fluids have been changed. The car has been inspected and serviced front to rear and all systems have been checked and are working properly. It is ready to cruise trouble free.
Overall this car is in amazing condition for a 46 year old car, a true survivor and a great driver. It shows a ding and small dent here and there with a few minor scratches and touch ups. The interior is in great shape with only a few cracks in the rear seats, and on the drivers seat bottom. This not a show car but a great reliable cruiser. As It is now, it is easy to see the car looks great and shows a ton of originality and character. It can be enjoyed and driven as-is or is an excellent candidate to be a custom show car if so desired.
