PRICE REDUCED! NOW IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO GET IT ON EBAY! IT WILL NEVER BE LOWER PRICED THAN THIS.

Ok before anyone gets their knickers in a twist about the rarity of this car (1 of 2 known to have ever been built with 340 4 Speed in the Notchback body style with A53 Formula S package) Some info on the records.

1st. There is no valid record for production on 340 Formula NOTCHBACK! What records exist on 1969 340 formula S cars is problematic for several reasons. A, not all S option cars are formula S as the E55 and A56 cars are also under the S records and B, there is no break out for the true FORMULA S Notchback cars which is A53 option only. All the rest produced are either convertibles or fastbacks. if you don't believe me lets see ya find one or even a picture of one. To date all actual cars known to be built and still exist are 2 4 speeds and 2 automatics period. No records of any others having been produced exist. No others out of the 4 I mention exist or are know ever to have existed. There are no others in the registry and there no verifiable other ownerships of the a 340 formula S in a notchback that can be found in any record forum sales record or auction or club or show.

THAT SAID, This car is fully mechanically restored. Less than 200 miles on the restored drive train. Motor, trans, rear end, shifting linkages suspension brakes etc all new, Upholstery carpet etc all replaced except the seat backs. Dash is quite nice and correct. I have the tach for it. Sorry I dont have the original intake and exhaust package. Older repaint still nice. Good rubber etc. As seen in the images.

Super rare 1of only 2 known at this time period. Get a deal.

This car is recently 100% mechanically restored and is bad ass. It was cosmetically restored over the last 2 years. Paint is driver good but not top show quality. All mechanicals front to back are totally restored. The original 340 was replace about 1972 with a factory replacement 1971 warrantee motor built to sixpack specs. Totally rebuilt since and has terrific power. The trans 100% rebuilt with new everything and matching numbers. These cars came with 18 Spline HEMI trannys for race purposes. Original 8 3/4 323 sure grip posi rear end. New interior. brand new correct replacement high ratio 16:1 race steering. New brakes, brake lines. rebuilt front suspension, NICE DASH EVERYTHING WORKS. I HAVE THE TACH FOR IT BUT IT SHOULD BE GONE THROUGH AND UPDATED BEFORE BEING RE-INSTALLED. Tail finish panel is nice but needs to be sent out for repaint and polish. I do not have the original intake or exhaust.

Fully rebuilt HP 340 J head motor Edelbrock intake and carb Custom made electronic distributor balanced and blueprinted. New ceramic headers H pipes Mufflers with original chrome tips. New gas tank, filler tube, fuel line. new trunk mat.

Fully rebuilt original Formula S HP 4 Speed trans. New clutch flywheel bearings etc.

New formula S 16 to 1 high ratio steering box.

Rebuilt original 8 3/4 sure grip 323 gears.

Breaks all rebuilt and new.

Rebuilt original Formula S suspension with sway bar.

New upholstery, package tray, headliner, carpets.Only the seat back inserts need to be redone

Dash is in great shape all gauges, heater radio etc work properly. Pad is excellent with no cracks etc.

A-body rallies with BFG radials all the way around and the spare in the trunk.

Only a few hundred miles on the rebuilt drivetrain

This is probably numbers wise the rarest Formula S Cuda ever built with only 2 known in this 340 4 speed notchback configuration in Formula S.

Clean title. Turn key drive it away. Absolute steal for the knowing investor. I figure its really worth about double my asking price.

also advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to end the auction bids or not.
