1970 Plymouth Sport Fury Station Wagon 383 AT
Description
For sale is this neat 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury with the factory 2 barrel 383 & 727 AT trans. It has been a great car for many years of use and was once owned by EUSTACE FREDERICK a VA Tech football player for 4 years starting 1948. (google his name to learn more) He used it as a VA Tech tail-gate vehicle later in life. It starts easy and drives great but the engine is not a powerhouse for a car this big: more slow & steady. Cooling system doesn't leak & it has a helper fan to keep the big block cool. (installed so as not to damage any original parts) The AM radio doesn't work. It has disc brakes on the front as well as many new brake parts: master cylinder, rear cylinders & rear brake pads. The engine is super clean & has MANY new parts as well. AC does not work. The owner passed away before completing this car, its mostly done but as with most any classic car it could always use a few more repairs. It has new old stock tail lights & bezels, new tires mounted on factory 15x6" Mopar rallye wheels. Starting price with no reserve is a bargain but it needs a new home & driven regularly again.
