Description

This is one of those decisions that as a 'car guy' you really dont wanna make but it's time to prioritizeHave several really cool cars that need finishing. This one is probably the most valuable so it's a case of sacrificing one to 'feed the herd' !! hahaYou are looking at my 1971 Plymouth Barracuda that has had some significant work done to create the car I wanted. Might not be to your taste and that's cool. But if you 'dig' that TransAm SCCA roadrace look then this might appeal. I'll go into the details in the next paragraph. The car is from the west coast and is solid. Put the finishing touches on this badboy and have a unique RestoMod Pro Touring car that'll really get some attention ;)
1971 Plymouth Barracuda VIN BH23G1B37043(X) kept last digit offOriginally a 318-2bbl 3spd manualPaint code EL5 ButterscotchTrim grade/Style/Color High/Vinyl Buckets/BlackBuilt 4/26/71 Hamtramck,MI,USA
Car has fender tag with all numbers/codes visible
The car came with a 340/4spd when I bought itThat motor had big problems so I decided to thoroughly upgrade the drivetrain n suspensionThe is being sold as a 'roller'
A complete RMS AlterKtion K member set up for a modern Hemi (5.7,6.1,6.4)I also had the full StreetLynx rear setup installed
Big money in that lot !!($7000 plus installation)
I had a brand new 5.7 Hemi for it but a neighbor nabbed it from me for his aging pickup!
Were I to keep it I had intentions of installing a complete NASCAR Camping World Truck series Dodge R5/P7 motor(800+hp and fresh) and Tex 101a roadrace 4spd trans(fresh). I have that motor and trans setup along with spare heads, new block n cranks etc etc but it is NOT INCLUDED in this auction. They may be for sale for the right price.........
Car comes on some basic 'rollers' for wheels as wheel selection is a really personal thing.
The 'ground effects' are all metal and in great shape
The car was painted about 2yrs ago (not concours but decent)
The much sought after Pistol Grip is included
The rearend is an 8 3/4" non posi (never got to that!)
Currently the car has some garbage brakes on itI was planning on installing giant 8pot Brembos from an AMG SL55
Those brakes could be negotiated after the sale if you wanna go that routeAlternatively, contact RMS and purchase the Wilwood kit they sell for their setup
The car had a sunroof when I purchased it, which I didnt want. Had the best bodyshop in the area put in a patch panel. You would NEVER know if the headliner was still present!
Not into hiding anything about this car. I've bought dozens of cars 'sight unseen' and really appreciate honest descriptions
I have a full dual exhaust for the car(included but not mounted)
The car has door 'poppers' that are not hooked up as the engine bay was completely stripped of wires/solenoids etc to get ready for a fresh coat of paint then drivetrain install
All glass is there and in good shape however there is some custom 'etching/engraving' in a cpl spots that you may or may not like.
Interior was reupholstered and is clean but I was going with AMG seats also. A set of seat covers(black vinyl) and you'd have the stock look again. Dash is in good shape, don't remember there being any cracks or blemishes
The underside of the car is rust free and I'm hoping to get the car over to a hoist to take pics for interested parties
Not sure what else to say about the car, fire away with any questions!!!
Has a clear title in my name with no liens etc
I live in Ontario, Canada and will assist the buyer with shipping to the best of my ability
Should you wish to meet at the border (Buffalo or Detroit) it may be an option for a modest fee
Please no BS, no dreamers or scammers
Car does not leave my possession until all funds are cleared
Good luck with your bids
Someone will be getting an awesome car with serious potentialI haven't used EBay in years so my wife created a new account, hence the 0 (zero) feedback score
I was Brickstreetbakery if anyone cares to research or has concerns about a new seller !! I understand.
