This rare Duster is one of only a handful of cars built optioned this way out of over 200,000 Dusters built in 1970. An all numbers matching car with its original 340 engine, original 4 speed transmission and original 3.91 8 3/4 suregrip rear end. The car is RUST FREE with its original sheet metal and it is documented with the original broadcast sheet, dealer warranty paperwork, owners manual, fender tag, door VIN decal, dash VIN tag and a clear title. The 3.91 suregrip axle package cars were only built after midyear production starting in 1970 and coupled with a 4 speed makes this combination the best performance Duster Plymouth ever offered. It is rare to find a car like this that survived the abuse most of them received being a low price, not so valuable cars back in the day. Again, this example retains is numbers matching engine, trans and rear end along with the original HD radiator, carburetor, exhaust manifolds with heat shields and more! All Duster 340 cars came with the A62 150 MPH Rally Gauges where the standard Dusters did not. This one is the rare color B7 Jamaica Blue and some of the factory options it came with are the E55 340 HP engine, D21 4 speed, A31 3.91 sure grip axle package, B41 disc brakes, N41 dual exhaust, N51 Max cool pkg, R11 AM radio, W21 Rallye Wheels, S13 HD Rallye suspension and the 6X and 8X Black side and rear stripes. The front suspension and steering have all been gone through, the underside is rock solid and has been cleaned, primed and painted, the BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires have nearly full tread, the Rally gauges and tach all work, the brakes have been replaced, the paint appears to be an older repaint that still looks very nice, the chrome looks great, the interior looks like new and the trunk area is clean and has a new mat. I wouldn't call it a perfect show car but it's not far off. It is a very hard to find investment quality numbers car that looks, runs and drives great and has everything right about it.
