Kustom 1956 Plymouth Savoy * NO RESERVE *
Description
Selling my Mild Kustom 1956 Plymouth SavoyThis car is a driver and in no way a show car or restoration car.I have had this car for a little over a year and it was a fun build as a family car. I am finishing a station wagon and no longer have room for these 4 doors.I have driven this car over 3,000 miles in the last year with an 8hr, 1000 mile trip to Austin Texas under its belt as well. All lights and gauges (Including Speedo, Gas Gauge) work as they should. The car has a new ignition and fuel system and starts right up hot or cold. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. All rust holes were cut out and welded up, I won’t say that it is rust free, but I did cut out any that I saw. The trim holes were all welded and sealed. When I bought the car, it ran poorly and smoked, I opened the engine up to find 2 bent push rods and a broken lifter (I assume from a backfire). I replace all pushrods and lifters and the carburetor, fuel pump and Switched the ignition from points to HEI. The car runs great now and has made a few 4hour + one-way trips. Car does Highway speeds, but I prefer to drive it around 65 MPH, car does not overheat even at 70+mph. All windows and Heater work Great!I have a Texas Title in my name and the car is registered as an Antique vehicle. Has Year Specific Texas platesThe car drives straight and has been aligned since lowered.I know I am leaving information ou, but please feel free to contact me with any questions.Thank you.Body:4 door sedan has been Nosed, Decked and shaved of all trimPaint:Main Body is painted with Hot Rod Flatz Firemist GreenFlames are a custom mix of Tropical Glitz 24k flakeFront Bumper is a 1958 Buick1959 re-pop Cadillac tail lights replaced reverse lights and wired as additional tail lightsRockers and fenders have had all of the rust repaired by weld in patch panelAll glass is intact and works perfectly.
