1970 AAR CUDA NUMBER MATCHING (NEEDS RESTORED) Baracuda 340 SIX PACK
Description
1970 AAR CUDA. Partially apart (Engine & Trans out), needs restored. A great body with only one repaint since new. The Car was parked in a garage in approx 1982, in Midland Texas were I found & purchased the car from. It has a great body with no rust other than some minor pin holes....with some in the very bottom of the lower area of the trunk pan (middle)....so it will not need an entire trunk pan replacement. The floors are all rock solid....NO issues....this is a nice body.
The car was originally an Ivy Green auto on column AAR. The Orange you see on it now is all that has ever been done over the original Ivy green. It has near perfect unmolested Quarters and original sheet mettle throughout, and the AAR hood IS NOT buckled in the middle like most, it has a few areas needing repair, but nothing major....(the original hood hinges with lightweight springs are also still with car).
Its missing a few items over the years of storage....etc. But I have the original number matching AAR Block, a set of heads, the Six pack, & a new correct AAR air-cleaner assembly as well.
I also have EVERYTHING to properly convert it over to a 4-speed car as well (about $6k worth of NICE goods, no junk, & EVERYTHING is new and/or fresh....
Everything for a proper conversion to 4-speed.....including Trans, Bell-housing, New Center-force Clutch, peddle assembly's, z-bar, floor tunnel panel.... NEW Console from "Tonys"...... new Pistol Grip Shifter & ALL accessories needed.
I also have a correct 727 auto trans if someone wants to keep it an automatic car, and as the Fender tag indicates...it is an original rally dash car as well....and all guage's are nice. (Radio is missing).
I have the proper (and new) set of AAR side exhaust pipe/tips. It has the factory bench seat (a rare piece)....along with another complete & correct set of 70 Buckets seats as well....and a new set of foams, new set of back panels....and new covers from Legends in black still in the box's.....(I have a couple thousand dollars wrapped up in just the bucket seats alone, and they are CORRECT 1970 buckets....not pieced together junk).
The car still has its fender tags....original door sticker vin tag is still intact on drivers door....and the original (complete near perfect) build sheet to the car that was still behind the back seat when I purchased the car as well. The original radiator support with vin is unmolested and intact (further indication that it is clearly a good solid car that has not been wrecked and/or patched back together.....ever).
It has all 4 of the original (& matching) date coded 15" rally wheels & trim rings still on it...and the trim rings are in fair condition. It also comes with a set of 4 new T/A radials. 275-60s-rear....and 255-60s for front.
It had an original Plymouth Rubber Front Bumper added when it was painted orange (they are fairly expensive and hard to find)....and I have a nice set off NEW reproduction AAR spoilers (Both rear and front Eyebrow set)...that go with the car, along with new outer door handles and some other misc new parts Im probably forgetting.
As you know, they only made approx 2700 of these AAR cars, and this is a solid (real) numbers matching car.
Feel free to call me anytime
.....(& I do not need any help trying to sell this car...so please do not bother me about listing it elsewhere....(and if you are a scammer, there is a special place in hell for people like you....so dont bother trying to scam me please).
To the rest of you; Be cool...thanks for looking.....and have a nice day.I have always maintained perfect feedback as you can see, & I am not a dealer. Im simply (and sadly) needing to sell a few of my toys to fund a project. Call me anytime for further data if needed. If you have less than 20 E-bay transactions....please call me before bidding.....(Unfortunately, listing fees for non payers on here "dreaming and pushing buttons" without thinking.....ruins things for everyone involved)..... If you are truly serious about the car, you'll probably call me anyways like most people would. I am just trying to avoid wasting either's time, Im not trying to be a d--k......(as my feedback indicates, I am an easy person to call or contact to deal with anytime).Storing the car inside until you can pick it up is not an issue either, & I can also help with making sure a hired hauler gets loaded properly for you as well if you cant come pick it up yourself.Just "So So" Driver Quality AAR Cudas are nearly twice what Im asking for the car (60-70k price range)...and as you know, your not sure what you are getting into with one..... possibly needing to be completely re-done anyways, after putting out that much initially). The difference in initial investment price here could be put towards making this a really nice car for you.....(and truly nice ones are in the 100K price range, just say'n).This is a really solid car, with all of its original meddle and solid floors and foundation.....not a rough rust bucket needing panel replacement everywhere. Thanks for looking.Dave303-995-9533 (Located inDenver Colorado)
