Pro StreetRat Rod

1940 Plymouth X4door Sedan

1940 Plymouth Pro Street Rod

Started life in 1985 as a 1940 Plymouth 4 door sedan. The owner always wanted a 41 Willys Pick up. Extensive modifications to the original Plymouth which includes a 3 inch chop top, with a 52 Ford donating the rear section of the cab, firewall being smoothed and recessed 4 inches, custom bed using the original 40 Plymouth rear fenders which had been sectioned and widened. A 10 point roll cage was added.

The suspension consists of a Mustang 2 front suspension and custom ladder bar rear suspension with a narrowed Ford 9inch.

The engine is a blown SBC 358 ci. With a GM 671 Blower on 8 psi. The motor is built with SCAT crank. Eagle H beam rods. Forged blower pistons and file fit rings. Moroso 7 quart pan with a melling oil pump. 882 heads, ported and polished with2.02 and 1.60 valves. All ARP hardware.

This Plymouth is STREET LEGAL!

I have had this gone through for safety. Front end received new bushings and alignment allow with new front rims and all new radial tires. I replaced the plexiglass front windshield and rear cab with glass. No Scratches! Transmission serviced, oil change, coolant changed as well as fresh plugs. I also had the exhaust reworked with new chambered mufflers and very cool powdered coated tips. Road Runner Beep Beep Horn.

Will trade for CASH ONLY!!

I tried to disclose as much as possible, but as this is an old vehicle and as such, is sold "AS IS", "WHERE IS", no warranty expressed or implied, buyer to pay all transportation costs and will have to arrange for delivery.

This is a lot of fun to drive and gets a ton of thumbs up! Two years ago, it took third place at the state Mopar show! I can't assist for delivery beyond 48 continental states. No overseas shipping.

I reserve the right to end the auction early.
