Description

This car was in Ocala, Florida in the 1970’s and was thought to be an original MW car before all of the books came out due to the MW parts being on it. Deep groove pulleys, choke cables, air cleaners, manifolds, stock MW exhaust with correct E-brake brackets, MW block and heads, intake manifold, 3447s, brake lines, MW pan. When all of the info was readily available, it appeared the car was originally a 6 cylinder, standard shift car that somebody converted to a MW thru the use of a parts car or bought all of the stuff new which was available back then. The car was sold to a guy down here that drove and raced it as it was for a while then bought a brand new Industrial 413 block and had the motor built and blueprinted by Coyote Engines of Miami in 1989, all paperwork, dyno report, cam card, pictures of motor build, etc. are in file. 461 HP @ 5500 RPMs. The block that came out is not with the car. It raced here for a while (pictures in file) then restored then went to Washington state for about 20 years them came back to Florida. Exterior: paint is single stage from the 1990s, nice but minor imperfections due to being around 40 years old. Chrome, bumpers, grill, stainless excellent original, glass all original, never out of car. Windshield has slight wiper mark. Hood bracing removed. emblems nice, never tubbed or caged. Virgin sheet metal, never any rust or repaired body panels, floors, etc. Nice, crisp body edging on bottoms of rockers. No repairs due to rust or collision. Interior: very nice original or OEM rubber floor mat, weather stripping, door and quarter panels, seats either excellent original or NOS material, heater delete, original working radio, certified speedometer, base model with just two taillights, excellent dash, sill plates, all rubbers original and nice, widows operate well with no issues. None of that reproduction weather strip or lacing that doesn’t fit nicely. Trunk: original cardboard pieces, original or NOS mat, jack and wheel chock. Mechanical: 10” 3200 stall converter, period correct custom fender well headers, very small cuts in fender wells for pipes, relatively quiet new exhaust, Moroso cable drive tach, no parking brake, 3.91 gears with tapered axles, 742 case, SS springs, 2402288 heads, 2402728-1 intake with 3447s, MW pan and pick up. 65 pounds oil pressure at idle, runs cool. No stampings on block deck, 7” slicks. 13.468 CR per build sheet. Running Pro in 1984, 12.38 ET, 109 MPH, have article, driveshaft loop. Motor number on Coyote build sheet which might be a Chrysler part number is 1089107. Block has two tapped bosses on front on driver’s side, by the oil sensor which is in the way making the numbers hard to read is 4404, 4406 or 4408. There is an 4 18 78 number on the driver’s side of the block and a 6 further up and back on both sides of the block. The stamping pad on the top of the motor is blank, I could not find a 7 digit casting number on the block and there is no AAQA number on the block. Please do your own research on it. General: starts, runs, drives, stops, steers fine, very tight, car was never disassembled too much. Clear Florida title. Original manifolds go with car. Have 50+ pictures showing the car thru it phases and racing. Not a car pieced together with aftermarket parts. Call Larry at 954 444-5399 with any questions but at normal EST business hours Please.
