1969 Plymouth Barracuda 340-S Convertible SURVIVOR
Description
Relisted due to non-paying bidder. Please make sure you have the funds to cover winning bid.
Unrestored California survivor last registered in 1982. Car has been in dry storage since the 80's. Car is in running condition and a driver. Not show quality but has all original panels. California Pink Slip shows clean title.
This highly optioned '69 Barracuda is one of only eighty three convertibles powered by a 340 4-barrel engine that has the A53 Formula S package. Engine is not numbers matching and has a casting date of 1970. 8 3/4 rear has a 3.23:1 gearset. VIN and Fender tag have been decoded and shows what came on the car.
Hood and front header panel have been swapped out for a '68 by the previous owner. Just preferred the look of the flat hood without the bulge. Floor pans and under carriage are solid with no rust. There is some slight bubbling on the bottom of the right rear quarter panel which may be surface rust under the paint. Convertible top has small tear and will need to be replaced.
