1929 Plymouth Sedan Original Interior Wood Spoke Wheels Driver
Description
Here is a nice example of a 1929 Plymouth sedan. There are not a lot of these left around. This car is pretty close to original. It has a new roof. The previous ownerrebuilt theengine, new brakes, new wiring harness, and more. (I have his receipts)It runs and drives well. The tires are good but have some minor cracking on the sides. The transmission makes some noise in second gear and will slip out of gear under high stress but it works fine to drive it around. The lights all work as do the gauges and horn. The clutch is good. It has the original interior including the wood steering wheel. There is only minor rust on some unfinished metal in the floor. No major rust at all. No rust that needs repair. As I understand it this was the first affordable car with hydraulic brakes. The gas tank is clean and uses a 6 volt fuel pump. The electric system is 6 volt and has a new battery. I put that it has 100,000 as I really do not know the mileage. The odometer shows 62,000 but I had the speedometer cable repaired as it was not working when I got it. This car cruises right along at 50mph. It will go almost 65. It is fun to drive and gets a lot of comments and looks.
