1960 Plymouth Fury Sport Coupe, this extremely rare and hard to find Fury was the last year of the huge fins, or “Stabilizers”, as Plymouth called them, and the end of the era of Virgil Exner's Forward Look.
The Red and White paint is in pristine condition and the matching interior was completely restored, including seats, all interior panels, carpet, headliner and dashboard, even a stunning recast of the square “Aero wheel” steering wheel.
Every piece of chrome on and in the car was re-plated and all stainless trim was straightened and polished.
The 318 cubic inch Poly “A” V8 engine was completely rebuilt and is mated to a Torqueflight 3 speed push-button automatic transmission.
Options include power steering, dual side view mirrors, AM radio, seat belts, and new wide white wall radial tires and Chrysler wire wheels.
The car also underwent a full mechanical and electrical restoration.
