Description

1969 Plymouth GTX we have our GTX listed this week I have had several of these cars years ago and wanted to do another one to my liking but unfortunately I have ran out of time and this one will have to restored by someone else. I put as many pictures as ebay would let me and it gives you a real good look as to how nice the car is and the amount of work it will take. First off the body yes it has rust in the lower rear quarters as pictured easy fix just hang lower quarters (cheap and easy) the trunk has a few holes could be patched and you would be the only one that knows or weld in a pan (a lil more work than quarters) the rockers look solid with one hole little over half way back (definite easy patch) hood looks very good roof deck lid fenders all look very nice doors are very clear with no rot on the bottoms. Inside floors again patchable but I personally would put new floor in the car is just well worth the effort and the little bit extra cost.

The car has the factory Number 44 I was told by prior owner I never questioned it as I was thinking of a new model hemi for the power The car has a lot of parts I took pictures of them I see the oil pan the heads there is a transmission mount drive shaft pistons crank looks to be completely torn down and ready for the machine shop. It is missing the transmission (auto) seats are all there and most of the dirty work is done. Like stated look over the pictures the car is a great candidate for a high dollar restore as it is for the most part pretty solid. a lot of the original car is still there in tact. ANYONE that has restored a classic know how important having original parts is. As nice as I personally think this car is in my opinion it is in need of A TOTAL RESTORATION. with that said look what nice 69 GTX's bring or at least what the owners are asking. Please have the money to buy the car before bidding. Best part is this is A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!!! This is how I sell all my cars on Ebay It is my way of showing buyers I am serious about selling the cars. 25% due with in 48hours after the close of the auction balance due in 7 days. I can store the car as long as needed as long as it is paid for on time. we can help loading. I will be out of town until Saturday evening so please wait for questions. Good Guys car show is here for this 4th of July so make a trip to Des Moines for the 4th and take a look at the old GTX Thanks and good luck.
