1965 Plymouth Sport Fury 2dr Hardtop
Description
Purchased from an estate of a person I have known for 40 years. The heads were removed in the late 1970s to install hardened seats, the owner passed away before finishing the project, the family stored the car under a carport they were the original owners bought and kept in the Phoenix area. The car shows 49,276 miles, the family vouched that this accurate and their dad rarely drove the car he had a number of cars. Indicators in the engine and suspension support a low mileage car. This being said the car is in need of a total restoration. The body is in good condition, solid floors and rocker panels. Original paint with mostly red oxide primer showing. Included with sale is another 1965 383 HO engine that turns freely, I do not know the history of this motor, I intended to use it for parts as the car is currently numbers matching. Missing (left exhaust manifold, alternator, A/C blower fan intake manifold). Correct (carburetor, unsilenced air cleaner, dual point distributor), edelbrock torker 383 manifold. Tires and wheels shown in pictures are not included in sale, the hubcaps shown are original and are included as well as original bumper jack and lug wrench I will include a set of tires and wheels, must be trailered.
