Very solid driver quality street rod.
Description
1938 Plymouth Deluxe Coupe. This is a very nice driver quality, but, still needs work to be finished. It was painted years ago, and it's showing its age. Has some cracking and chipping. Body is very solid with only a small amount of rust developing in the rear, as seen in the pictures. Has a couple of small dings, but, nothing serious. Has a Mustang 2 front end with power rack, 4 wheel power disk brakes, power steering. Engine is small block Ford 289, 4 barrel, with aluminum intake, electronic ignition, with 3 speed manual. Rear end is 8.8" Ford Posi. Interior is all there, and almost looks like the original. Seat is not torn or rotten, but, headliner is very rotten, but in place. A section was removed in the front to access the windshield wipers. I managed to get all the original guages working, except the volt gauge. I'm assuming because it's now 12 volts, not 6. I just had the car in a local cruise, on a 100 degree day, and it ran with no problems. Car now has a modified 34 Ford front bumper, and custom made steel, smooth running boards. Rear bumper is original, and needs re chromed. There is no heat, or AC. I love driving this car, and always draws a lot of thumbs up. It is a very solid and fun car, I just don't have time for it anymore, and I don't want it sitting outside this winter, as my shop is full. I'm selling the car as is, with no warranties. Please see pictures and videos. It is located in Southern Oregon. The wheels shown in the videos are no longer on the car. I just bought the painted/chrome smoothies and brand new tires.
