1968 Plymouth Barracuda Base 5.6L
Description
1968 Plymouth Barracuda. Powerplant is a non matching numbers 340 with a bigger cam and brand new Edelbrock 750 4 barrel with electric choke. Much better for the street. I switched out the Holley double pumper. It was a screamer but I don't race this car. But make no bones about it, this car is fast and fun. Previous owner told me engine was rebuilt 7 years ago. Excellent compression, runs strong. 8 3/4 posi rear with either 3 73 or 3 91 gears. 60 mph is 2900 rpm. 727 torqueflight with shift kit and reverse valve body shifter. The car runs extremely well and is fast. Fresh oil change, fairly new rubber. P205/75/R14 up front and P245/60/R15 rear. Auto gage monster shiftlight tach, (original tach on console). New KYB shocks, new Borgeson steering box, hedders, 3 inch cherry bomb exhaust sounds amazing. Flip top gas cap, rear fold down seat. Instrument cluster area faded. All electrics work. Seams are split in driver seat. Carpet good shape. Clean engine bay. Trunk, floors and frame are RUST FREE. Some minor body rust. See pics. CAR IS BONDO FREE. Car is for sale locally. I reserve the right to end the auction. Here is a link to a video. Located in Troy, Virginia
