For sale in our Chicago showroom is this mean, green 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda. 1970 saw the first commercial flight of the 747 Jumbo Jet, the end of The Beatles, and the introduction of the AAR 'Cuda. AAR, or "All American Racer" 'Cudas were essentially manufactured as a homologation car. That means that they were built in limited numbers required to allow a similar model to race in certain national circuits. They has slightly staggered front and rear wheels, a special spoiler, blacked our grille, and a special decal package to set them apart from a standard 'Cuda. This particular 'Cuda has a 340 six-pack V8 under the hood connected to a recently rebuilt 727 automatic transmission ready to throw you back in your seat.
Seasoned observers will notice that the original fender tags have been replaced with remanufactured units, but the originals are included with the sale of the vehicle, as well as the broadcast sheet. A turn of the key fires this fish right up. A quick stab of the gas alerts anyone nearby that this Plymouth has a racecar lineage. With almost all original sheet metal (the trunk has been replaced) this is a very original car. Many hours have been spent making sure any hoses, wiring modules, and anything else under the hood is as correct as possible.
With the unique green on green color scheme, and the unique bench seat and column shift, this 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda is sure to get attention from automotive novices to the Mopar masters. Options include: AM Radio, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Raised White Letters, Rally Wheels, and a Numbers Matching Drivetrain.
