Ok, the car...
Check out the video. It WAS a clear video, but was degraded a bit in transfer - http://youtu.be/arxKR8xQkEU - Its a bit long winded, but youll get the basic idea toward the beginning...
This is a fantastic car, simply put. I wake up in cold sweats just thinking about selling it and have put it off as long as possible. But im flat broke and own this car, so it has to go. Many many improvements since I bought it. This could be the most fun driver i've had in 27 years of vintage car owning, and that includes a 74 dart swinger in primo condition. Some notable facts...

MILEAGE - Every mechanic who's worked on this car, that's 4 of them, thinks the 56k mileage is original. Its entire life is in the Laurel Highlands, which is nothing but winding roads with a good share of rough spots. Given the condition underneath, lack of rust/wear, the amount of original parts that were still there when I got it (lots replaced since) and the ownership history (one lady owned it until just 15 yrs ago), it's not at all likely that the odometer has turned over.

EVERYTHING WORKS -- all electrical, heater, lights, flashers, washer-wipers, radio, cigarette lighter, side view mirror and adjust, latches, door locks (though the passenger side door is hard to open with a key -- drivers side is fine)

ENGINE -- 318 V8 lots of power and about the same mpg as the 225 6 cyl, very strong, no noises, leaks no oil -- when cold it will give one puff of blow-by (white) smoke if gunned, does not linger, does not smoke under any other circumstances (up hills, under strain, etc), oil level is steady.

TRANSMISSION -- 3 speed, shifts perfectly, very very smooth, like butter, no noise, no whining at high speed -- drips fluid when parked awhile

CARBURETOR -- original single throat 2 barrel carter, just rebuilt with all new parts, runs clean & strong but floats should re-adjusted

DRIVE SHAFT -- just sanded & primed with new high end synthetic-lube u-joints

STEERING -- nice and smooth, no noise, no leaks - minor amount of play
BRAKES -- excellent, not power, EVERYTHING up front is new (3 months old), including calipers, lines and rotors, rear brakes are sound, stopping is super solid

SUSPENSION -- very good, smooth ride, ride is nice, handles ruts and rough road very well -- rear leaf springs are original, lower than they started out but currently at a nice riding level. Some people just install air shocks instead of replacing leaf springs, if you want to ride higher that's an option

TIRES -- bought them new and theyve very little use, white wall, all season

GLASS -- all solid and sound, no cracks or chips

BODY -- straight and solid, but understand its not a perfect show car - one small dent on drivers side fender under emblem, no notable rust, no cancer, this was obviously never driven in winter -- roof is sort of "in between tops" but looks pretty good with the sand-textured rubber coat that it currently has on it. Note that in the video the top has a bunch of feathery dust bunnies that just blew onto it that are not flaws or color inconsistencies in the top itself. Ready for a vinyl top if you want

LIGHTS -- all working, has 4 new side marker lenses

TRIM -- just fine, some scratches & cosmetic flaws but no serious issues or decay, shines up well, bumpers are in really nice shape also, chrome is very good

PAINT -- possibly original, at least in parts, old school root beer sparkle -- plenty of little flaws but pretty nice

DASH -- no wear or notable sun damage, all gauges work

UPHOLSTERY -- seen better days, covers look nice, still very comfy seats

CARPET -- really nice, some fade but only light wear

HEADLINER -- very tight, hardly any flaws

RADIO -- original, complete, looks and works great, dash-top speaker
Other stuff: Comes with original hub caps. They have been badly accented with a thin black paint but will be back to normal after that's removed. Much of ignition electrical is new; coil, wires, denso u-groove plugs, cap & rotor. No a/c. Clean fuel and air filters. New alternator and power steering belts ready to install when you need them, US made, nice belts. Note that I never buy the low end china stuff if at all possible, any parts i've replaced on this chariot (too many to list) have been carefully selected.Pa title, clear and in my name.I think thats about it. I do hope to find this gem a good home.
