1955 Plymouth Belvedere Sport Coupe 2dr hard top CLASSIC CAR WA state
Description
1955 Plymouth Belvedere 2 door HARD TOP with matching set of 4 American Racing smoothie rims. Located South of Seattle in Tukwila, WA. USA.
First of all let me say this car is a rusted out piece of S#1T. I have a crazy dream of cutting off the roof and making a rat rod from hell out of it. But I'm moving and must sell the pile of scrap. These book for about $32,000 in perfect condition. Its the hard to find 2 door with no post. Very similar to the 1956 Fury. If you have any intention of restoring this vehicle you will need to do allot of welding. This one is low milage and has sat in a field since the 1960's.
IMPORTANT! About the title: There is none. Included is an envelope containing signed / notarized documents including....... Release of Interest signed with power of attorney, Affidavit in Lieu of Title signed with POA. Notarized Individual Durable POA. Bill of sale. Final report of deceased estate. VIN tag, Body # tag, And the vintage WA licence plate. All for a 2 door 1955 Plymouth "PLA/CP". PLA is short for Plaza. So you can potentially get this thing registered as such. That Plaza no longer physically exists but these documents survived. No Belvedere doc's or VIN. So if you need it registered as a Belvedere, this is not the car for you!
Most parts are in fair to poor condition. Included are F bumper, R bumper, interior mouldings, 1955/56 grill, f seat, r seat, rear arm rest mouldings, Powerflite automatic transmission, drive shaft, rear differential, f bumper splash panel, roof skin replacement panel, r rear quarter replacement panel, hollywood steering wheel, leaf springs, hood (nice), decklid (nice), gas tank (nice), 6cl radiator (leaks), exhaust, door handles, and a pile of more stuff.
Incomplete. Missing some parts. for example. Little to no stainless trim. No original rims. No glass. No motor or mounts.
The body is straight, severely rusted all around the lower-outer areas. Dented roof, Straight / solid frame (the radiator bracket area is bent up on the front tip). Broken front r coil spring. Made in USA for the USA market.
This car is parked in the back yard. there is a flat side lawn not big enough for a tow truck. So it will have to be pushed to the front yard to load. It will take some maneuvering and muscle power. Good news is the tires hold air and the wheels are not seized. So it rolls. Vehicle must be removed from the property prior to or on December, 29 2016 or it will be disposed of. No refunds.
Sold AS-IS. Don't expect anything more than a rusted pile of junk. This could be made into a very cool classic. Or just part it out. Dream big!
