Description

FRESH PICS TAKEN 2/19/17.

Sorry, car is a bit dusty inside from sitting(especially back seat, also, the red paint looking stuff on back seat will peel off, it's there because something was laying back there and it left that on it).

EVEN THO I HAVE DONE A LOT TOIT ALREADY, CAR STILL HAS A BUCKET LIST(READ WHAT IT NEEDS DOWN BELOW).

1974 TRANS AM CLONE(PREVIOUSLY A FIREBIRD ESPIRIT):

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR THE MOST IS ITS BEAUTIFUL METALLIC LIME FIRE GREEN "FACTORY" COLOR!

If it was still just an Espirit it would still be highly sought after for being this color alone!

Another super hard color to find, especially in a 'bird!

GREEN is my most fave color and whenever I saw this car f/s many year's ago the color combo is what attracted me to it!

But anyways, I always want to try and be different(RED, WHITE, AND BLUE ONE'S R COOL BUT A "GREEN" ON, FORGET ABOUT IT)!!!

LONG STORY SHORT, car still needssome TLC!

Nothing drastic, just a little of this and that!

MY JERK painter did a GR8 job on what he did do but he messed up a few minor things and he forgot to paint inside of trunk lid.

I had given him a replacement lid after car was painted because original one had a little typical rot/rust and a dent so I bought a NICE one for it.

There r a couple of flaws in paint here and there but r very minor.

Also, there is a chip at center of hood where hood kind of touched nose(typical, no big deal).

But anyways, it's not a show car type of paint job BUT overall(except for what I will be mentioning below) it does looks GOOD and paint used to paint is high $ PPG paint and I still have a decent amount left.

So, besides needing inside of trunk lid painted, to be honest, I had my painter tweak factory color just a hair for my liking so under hood/door jams is a shade off but is close enough if u r looking for a driver quality type of car!

If not, detail up these areas.

Also. there's a little place(shown in pics) on rt qt(probably where qt was metaled in at), where it kinda looks like it has a little indention there?.

Not bad, but I've just got to state every PICK that I am aware of.

Also, all flare r brand new and the dummy crackedleft rear oneone at very bottom(no way does it need replacing and u can't c it unless u r on the ground).

And there r a fewmore PICKS.

1, and this makes no sense, on lower half of rear bumper cover, whenever he sprayed it it looks like they're some water marks on it?.

But, they may buff out, if not, only this area could be reshot.

And last, since I cloned it, hood isn't a T'A hood and he did a good job cutting hole in hood for shaker BUT he cut it too small.

Shaker rubs/hits towards rear side, from this car cannot be driven with shaker on it, either trim hood out a little bit or u could buy a real TA hood but then of course u would waste a $200.00 bird(SERIOUSLY tho, this is a GR8 hood and with a little trimming on hood, all will def work out)!

Original floorboards have been patched and they appear/feel really solid but trunk floor has some rot/rust and it def needs to be replaced(a new trunk floor is probably the main thing that it needs that I haven't bought for it yet).

I THINK that I have everything car needs to be finished except for a new trunk floor(again, I think?).

Cars' mtr compartment(mostly mtr itself) needs a lot of detailing(I had planned to do myself, just was/is onits bucket list).

Car has brand new AC compressor, dryer, and belt inside of trunk only needing to be put on.

I bought a kind of air induction flipper/door for shaker, it too needs to be put on.

Lower front valence(drip pan) was like $500.

One park light that it needed was like $200(1 year only light's/part's r not CHEAP or EZ to find)!

Car has brand new BEAUTIFUL plush GREEN correct color carpet AND correctGM rubber floor mats(TRY FINDING THIS COLOR, THESE WERE/R NEW OLD STOCK, NOT REPRODUCED LIKE RED'S, BLUE'S, AND BLACK'S).

I have like $450 in carpet/mats alone.

Seat covers r brand new(FRONT'S ONLY, $400 alone here), there's an easy to address cut tho on top left rear.

Console is in driver quality shape.

I bought new headliner material and a used headliner board in FAIR shape but never glued material to board or ever installed it.

I added a decent-nice FAT T/A strg wheel and a T/A dash bezel.

This is super cool, original green seat belts were badly faded and I bought some $250 new old stock GREEN seat belts for it but never bolted them in.

Car has a nice vintage 2 knob digital stereo.

I added a tachometer(gauge cluster) but from the factory this car did not come with a factory tach BUT I also bought off of eBay a complete dash wirng harness to address added tach situation.

I personally put decals on including the BIRD and I did an EXCELLENT job doing so!

And, its SWEEEEEEET 17" retro wheel's!

NO KIDDING, THEY HAVEN'T EVER ROLLED OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY!

THEY R LITERALLY BRAND STINKING NEW!!! $2,350 WORTH OF WHEEL'S/TIRE'S!

I had 14"rally's on it originally that r now on my Formula.

I got this car from its 2nd owner(so I'm told).

And it's a life-long Houston Tx area car.

Guy I got it from told me that mtr, trans, rear end, and front suspension r all from a '77 T/A(AGAIN, THIS IS WHAT I AM TOLD).

THIS CAR RUNS/DRIVES GR8(MINUS A TRANS LEAK THAT WILL NEED TO BE ADDRESSED)!!!

IT'S A SOLID RUNNER ALL THE WAY!

No way would I suggest doing anything to mtr other than detailing/painting it up!

A couple of other MINORthings that it needs r, 1, I kind of have the temp hose tied off with vise grips because before swapping clusters to get the TA tach cluster, its original gauges had a light instead of a temp gauge so correct sending unit for a temp gauge needs to be swapped out for the light sending unit(I know I bought one, I THINK it's inside of glovebox or center console but if not these r like $10.00).

Also, I added a tilt steering column to this car(was originally a non tilt car), anyways, some linkage needs to be adjusted, messed with so whenever shifting gears it will go into its correct gear(rt now park is like reverse), nobig deal, nothing needs to be bought for it.

Also, transhas a kind of a bad leak.

It has had it ever since I bought the car but after just sitting it got worse(I'm pretty sure it's just its front seal?).

And also, u would have to kind of slam it into park to get it to hold in park(this is either an adjustment on linkage or inside of trans?).

Trans is FOR SURE GOOD THO!

I may be forgetting a thing or two but for the most part I think that I've about covered just about everything!

WHAT U C IS WHAT U GET!

Thanks for looking(and if u need a fast/reasonably priced auto transporter I can recommend one).

BOTH BUY IT NOW/STARTING BID RFAIR(JUST FROM C'N PICS MY BUDDY'S ALL THINK THIS LOOKS LIKE A $20 GRAND CAR)!
