Description

I bought this Firebird from the 2nd owner in 2003 with plans to restore it. The 2nd owner only had it for 6 months. I have all the paperwork dating back to when it was new including all the registrations, repair orders etc. I even have the protecto plate. This car was my baby and regret selling it but I am not in a position to keep in any longer.
This is an A/C delete California car built in Van Nuys with absolutely NO body rust or fillers with the exception of minor trunk rust. The body is in immaculatecondition with only a few minor parking dents. I have inspected the quarters through the pass through vent and they are supreme. I installed a 455 engine and Turbo 400 trans from a 1970 Bonneville 1 month after I purchased it as well as a trans am axle. I drove this car daily until 4 years ago when I pulled the engine for a gasket overhaul and trans rebuild. I ended up working on other projects and it has been sitting since. I really want to find it a new loving Pontiac home. The mechanical workings were in perfect order when I pulled the engine 4 years ago such as brakes & suspension, exhaust, body mounts etc. It has the rare 14X7 rally wheels with 265x50 series BF Goodrich tires with 75% tread, this combo means no rubbing! Original steering wheel & door panels. I do have a Formula wheel but aftermarket is best. The dash is cracked after 30 years of Cali sun. I put a black center console and rear sale panels I got from a donor car. The seats were re-upholsteredin the early 2000's, seat upholsteryquality is mediocre but can be fixed. Head liner got torn when I moved to Idaho. It has been garaged & kept in environmental control since I bought it. The frame is straight. Rear bumper is slightly out of wack but very minor. Any questions please dont hesitate to ask!
I have a lot of NOS parts as you can see from the pictures including:SAE 1970 tail light lenses I paid a fortune for lol, R & L side marker lenses w brackets, shift selector, oil, water and fuel gauges, clock, door sills, trans shift cable, firebird dash emblem, firebird door emblems, dome light, door vents, windshield wipers, cowel vent, gas pedal trim, battery tray and more!
