1966 Pontiac GP Grand Prix 421 V8 Low Reserve, Muscle car, Show car
Description
1966 Pontiac Grand Prix. 421 V8, Automatic transmission, Power Windows, bucket seats, center console, Factory A/C car { compressor missing but everything else is in tact }, all original interior in good condition for the age.. Still has the original factory radio and trunk mat. Power brakes, Power steering. The window trim and vinyl top trim are in the trunk. The glass all seems to be in good shape. Looking under the car, the floors do not appear to even have a pin hole. Fires up and runs good, sat for 15 years... I installed new plugs and wires and rotor and it fired right up. The transmission is solid in reverse, however the forward gears are not working. The fluid is full and clean and has no burnt smell. The dual exhaust is complete and in good condition with no exhaust leaks. There is a valve for air shocks in the trunk but I have not attempted to air them up to see if they function properly. Brakes will need attention since it has been sitting for so many years. The car is in very great condition for it's age. However there are some pinholes in the center of the trunk where the original trunk mat created moisture to hold. The outer parts of the trunk and trunk extensions are all in good shape. Due to the vinyl top there will need to be some repairs done at the lower corner of the back window, but really not bad at all for a vinyl top car and easy fix. This could easily be a amazing daily driver or full blown show car. I think you would be hard pressed to find a car in this condition at it's age.
