It's hard not to like a 1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am clone, all dressed in an aggressive paint package, especially one that has the big 455 motor to back it all up. This one doesn't fail to turn heads by reversing the well-known white with blue stripe Trans Am package, so that it is instantly recognizable, and distinct at the same time. When it's combined with the deep chin spoiler, hood scoop, air extractors on the front fenders, and a ducktail spoiler, the look is full-on aggressive. Best of all, this is a super straight body, with uniform gaps, so all the pieces align as they should. Correct decals were installed, and while they're not exactly subtle, they're a far cry from what the Trans Am would become later in the decade. The wide front grilles, the flared fenders, and all the other little details that make these cars special also combine to make it one of the most feared, and recognizable, predators on the street in the 1970s. There's not much chrome left, but that rear bumper doesn't look out of place and shines up nicely under the slick rear spoiler.A classic black interior continues the no-nonsense performance attitude, and everyone loves bucket seats with a center console. The three-spoke steering wheel is now an icon, and the machine-turned dash panel is a high-performance look that goes back to the earliest days of racing. Great-looking gauges monitor the vitals with big, easy-to-read, round dials arrayed ahead of the driver. There's even an AM/FM/CD stereo head unit in place and the original 8-track is still present! The 455 cubic-inch V8 under the hood fills the engine bay with American muscle, and the silver paint and polished valve covers do a nice job of grabbing attention after everyone gets drawn in in by the shaker style Ram Air cover. This monster motor breathes through long tube headers before giving off a thundering sound from the Flowmaster dual exhaust. You'll love this package on the road, as a tip of the throttle will feel like diving into a well of bottomless torque. Pontiac's combination of performance and luxury was hard to beat, so this car includes nice cruising extras like the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes. It's topped off with Rally II style wheels wearing modern BF Goodrich T/A rubber at all four corners.Big power, with a look to match. This is the one you'll love to simply go out and have fun with your big block Poncho. Already gaining attention in the showroom, dont wait...call today!!
