This is technically a 1980 Indy pace car edition Trans Am, with a 1973 nose & hood. I am relisting this car because my original listing was somewhat confusing. The car is in the process of restoration. I've put over $20K into what you see here. The first picture is how the car looked when I bought it. Thenext fewpictures show it in process of being taken apart immediately after I purchased it sight unseen in the Chicago area. Thelast sevenof the photos show it as it looks today, sitting in a storage unit in Red Bud, IL. This was a professional frame-off restoration by V8TV, until I decided to stop work on it. The car is now a rolling chassis, ready for a new owner to finish restoring it. I have not seen the car for more than a few minutes over the last 4 years because I was living too far away. The engine that is in it is a 400 cid, & supposedly rebuilt & ready to go. I have not confirmed this by taking it apart, but you can see it in the pictures. There is a new radiator & what looks like Autometer gauges. It also seems to have new doorcards & seatcovers, and bunches of interior spare parts. I was told it was missing a carburetor & inner wheelwells.
There are over 300 in-process pictures on the V8TV website: http[colon forward slash forward slash]v8tvshow.com/80_TA_I/index[dot]html
It's much easier telling you about it than answering a million emails, so feel free to call me at 970.708.1014 (Ivan)
If you like restoring cars, or have friends that weld/do bodywork, this will be a good buy for you. When you buy the car, itneeds to be picked up before another month's rent is due. I do not know the mileage, and it is not required or listed on the title.
