1967 Pontiac Catalina Wagon Safari Black Plate California Car Survivor
Unrestored Very Original Barn Find / Garage Find
This is my 1967 Catalina Safari wagon. It is one of the nicest unrestored cars I have ever seen although it is an old car that was was in daily use for at least a portion of its life and it does have its share of flaws.
- Extremely solid and complete California black plate car
- 81,877 miles
- Beautiful original red and white color combination
- Paint appears to be mostly original and very presentable with light patina
- It proudly wears its share of dents, dings, scrapes, and other imperfections accumulated over its 50-year life
- Runs and drives well
- It has a 2BBL Pontiac 400 with a 400 Turbo 3-speed automatic transmission - I believe it would be a turbo 400
- Power rear window
- 8-lug wheels
- Under-dash air conditioning
- Manual brakes
- Tilt wheel
- Power Steering
- Other cool options like cruise (not sure if cruise works)
- The car appears to be ultra-solid
- Normal areas like trunk and tailgate jam area are very nice and solid (please see photos)
- The interior is in very nice condition and appears to be all original
- More photos available - please let me know what you would like to see
- Includes documentation packet like window sticker, sales order, owner's manual, etc.
I hate to let this car go but I just have too many cars and too little time so I am thinning the herd.
Here is my plan for conducting this auction:
- There is NO RESERVE
- There is NO BUY-IT-NOW
- My BOTTOM-LINE is the highest bid at the time the auction ends
- If the auction ends without any bids, the car will no longer be for sale - I will keep it and potentially relist it or sell it thru other means. I am not interested in doing any side deals.
- I plan to let the auction run its course
- I am not interested in any trades -I am thinning the herd
- Please don't ask about these items - I'm just trying to make this as easy, hassle-free, and as fair as possible for everyone
