Description

This is a 1956 Pontiac Star Chief 4 door hardtop. Pretty much all original with the 317 ci. V8 and automatic trans. Interior has been redone including thecarpet, front and rear seats, door panels and headliner. Body is pretty good shape, but needs paint. Has some rust on the rocker panels andpassenger side rear door jam.(see pictures) Overall, it's a very solid car, runs and drives great and could drive anywhere. I've had a few questions about the car, so I wanted to add a little more info here. The stainless trim is all there andin prettygood shape, could use some polishing. The front and rear bumpers have pitting and will need to be re-chromed. The drivers front door and passenger rear door glass is cracked and need replaced. The frame and floor bracesare really solid, only has surface rust. The floor boards are pretty good as well, only have one area under the drivers side rear seat, that needs to be patched. Pretty much everything works on the car, except the radio. No issues at all with the engine, transmission or drivetrain, you can get in it and drive it anywhere. I have a clear title in hand.
