1968 Pontiac Firebird 350 Coupe Project, California Car, Father/Son Owned.
Description
1968 Pontiac Firebird 350 Coupe Project, California Car, Father/Son Owned.
If at all interested, let me know, as I may just start parting it out here, and locally, as I realize that this is a challenge to sell/buy over the internet as a whole.
Very minimal rust issues, minimal sheet-metal damage to body, choice California body, was in use for 10 years.
Yes, it is all disassembled down to the bare body coated in a oil/wax preservative, sitting on a wheeled rack, all covered up, in storage, for years ....
Most of the parts/extras are all boxed up with the body, and some are at my shop, selling it wasn't supposed to happen, but here we are.The front seats are in my shop, and remain in decent condition/seams split at top from sun. The deck lid, sub-frame/suspension, core support, front fenders/not perfect, rear window and numerous other items to put it back together are included, or just the body, or mix n match...
Originally equipped 350 cubic inch engine, 2 speed transmission, engine is partiallydis-assembled, seized due to coolant that leaked into cylinders when sitting years ago.
Options: Fold Down Rear Seat, Burl-Wood Grain Dash/Console, Console Clock.
Long stalled project and all the extra parts have been stored away at one place or another for over 35 years, guess I am not getting to it ...., my Dad purchased this car new, then I got hold of it, had big plans for restoration, but here she sits, never imagined getting rid of it, so someone looking for a rare opportunity, with some issues, here it is!
Has not been on the road since 1978, used for 10 years, last registered in 1980, has been stored inside covered since.
Have the Pink, with a Bill of Sale, for the trade of cash.
The price ... have to start somewhere, surely that much, if not much more value there!
All, or portion purchases considered.
No hood, or decent front bumper.
Car, Spares/Extras will/are being listed locally, and here on eBay, as I pull from storage, sort, and list them, boxes of extra OEM parts...
Pulled apart two cars for parts for this project back in the late 70's/80's, one was my driver, till it was rear ended, then it was a parts car.
Have parts, will deal ..., yes, a bit of a mess, but life changes, and the want to quit paying storage has made me want to sell this unfinished part of my life, ASAP !!!
This car is a project that has been stored inside at one place or another since 1978, it was ten years old when last driven, last registered in 1980.
