Description

This is a project car!
Snatch this up before a Gas Monkey does awful things to this car! Be the envy of your 30th high school reunion and relive the 80's in this car if you dare...yes, the back seat is calling you.
It has been sitting in our driveway for 13+ years waiting to be restored...I don't have the time so it needs to go.
The good:
  • Engine turns over and starts.
  • T-tops do not leak.
  • interior is in decent/usable shape
  • Dash is good and not cracked
  • "new" removable face-plate radio and speakers installed just before it was parked.
  • transmission shifts and operates good
  • a good cleaning will make it look even better
  • the frame and body are solid and "rust free" sans a few minor spots (hey, its all original and 29 years old...)
  • undercarriage has Ziebart rust proofing on it

The Meh/Bad:
  • The clear coat is peeling off. It was repainted Maui Blue (special color) to match the factory paint that was faded back in 1994.
  • Rear spoiler is original rubber and is as shown in the photos.
  • the tires are shot (although still available) and dry rotted. The car is on blocks in the photos.
  • The right front fender has some wrinkles from my wife running into a small tree in our driveway.
  • The right front A arm was reattached and is mechanically sound. I drove the car home after it was repaired and it will need an alignment.
  • the brakes and suspension are ok and scheduled to be replaced when we parked the car.

This car is not currently running or driving so you must bring a trailer/tow truck to take it with you.
