Description

First, let me admit that I made a mistake in buying this car. I bought it as a present for my wife’s birthday as she always wanted a Trans Am. This car looks good, has a modern engine and transmission, new tires and wheels, 4-wheel disc brakes, a new interior and an ice-cold A/C system. The first time she got in it to take it on the road, she treated the accelerator pedal as she would her Infinity crossover, and just about swapped ends. She was so scared by this episode, she won’t even get in the car anymore, let alone drive it. I’d keep this car for myself, but I can’t afford to both keep it and buy another classic car for her, so this one has to go. Car has a clear tittle.

It’s got Dakota Digital dash gauges, a Vintage Air A/C system, a rebuilt, cammed, ported and tuned LS1 engine with over 450 hp, a rebuilt transmission, new 17” snowflake wheels and Nitto tires, a new interior with a very nice hand-stitched dash and console, new headliner, seats, carpet, weatherstripping, etc. It has new paint and decals. The car gets 24 mpg on the highway, but still breaks loose if floored.

What’s wrong with it is the side windows and back glass are scuffed and scratched because they are original, though the windshield is new. The power windows are slow as they are original. I have included pics of these things so you can see.

I don’t think this is a car for an inexperienced driver or someone who doesn’t know what to expect with a true muscle car. I wouldn’t buy this for a teenager as a first car, or for picking up the kids from soccer practice. It is a driver’s car that was built to throw around and show off in. It’s a copy of the original Smoky and the Bandit car with a modern drivetrain. It would be at home either at the track or a car show.
