1989 PONTIAC FIREBIRD FORMULA 5.0 WS6 LOW MILES, T-TOPS

79k original miles, great unmolested, low mileage car, very well maintained. Ready for summer cruise nights, local shows, daily driving, etc.

Exterior:

The white paint is in very good overall condition with one repaint. Two tone white and gray colors. The paint has a glossy finish and shows well. There are a few minor chips and scratches here and there as would be expected of a car this age. The tires are newer with plenty of tread. 16” stock wheels are also in good condition. The rear spoiler is original and in good condition. The decals and striping on the car are in good condition. All of the glass is in excellent condition.

Interior:

The interior is excellent condition. The dash has no cracks. The upholstery and carpeting is in very good condition with no rips or tears, the door panels are solid with no cracking in the upper door panel plastic. All gauges, lights, blinkers, power windows, horn, work as they should. The headlights go up and down properly.

Mechanical:

Original 5.0 V8. The engine compartment is stock with no modifications. Car is in excellent operating condition. The 5.0 engine starts right up, idles well, and accelerates without hesitation. The engine is smooth with good power. The transmission shifts are precise in all gears. The car tracks straight, handles, and is a pleasure to drive. The brakes are in good working order. The air conditioning blows cold. Car has been taken on multiple 75 mile + trips. Great cruiser - runs consistently at 180 degrees and levels off at 215 degrees in heavy traffic and 90+ degree weather. Easy 26+ mpg gallon on the highway and turns 1800 RPM at 70+ mph. Undercarriage is in very good overall condition with no leaks.

Summary:
