Description

I don't want to sell my baby but I have too many projects and not enough time.

So here are the specs on my BEASTIE GIRL ... Under the hood is the original Pontiac 400 big block, (6.6L) witha 4-speed transmission and honeycomb wheels! I have a video of how she sounds but no-where to upload it. So if you want to hear how "BEASTIE" sounds, please email me and request the video.

I have owned her for almost 7 years. Yes, her original color was white as you can see by the trim codes but when I bought her she was black so I kept her that way. I have enjoyed driving her, watchingheads turn as I go by, stopping for gas and invariably have someone start a conversation about her, that usually leads to, my friend used to have one until they wrapped it around a tree or something like that. She's not perfect but she is mechanically sound.

I looked up some info on her, she is one of 8,319 that were built with this engine-tranny configuration in 77 and with the amount of them "wrapped around a tree" I'm not sure that there are many left!!

UP SIDE:

Engine and Tranny are sound.

The shop I usehas just finished: replacing the radiator and hoses, all new brake lines, booster & master cylinder, re-surfaced the rotors, new calipers & replaced the brake pads. A new set of rear wheel cylinders cleaned and adjusted rear brakes. Gas tank freshly cleaned out; new gas lines, new fuel pump and sending unit. New water pump, thermostat and gasket, intake gasket 3 new belts. Replaced the Holley with a newly rebuilt Rochester Quadrajet carburetor. The same shop in 2014 put in a new clutch pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, resurfaced the flywheel and replaced the shift linkage seals.

I have some paperwork history on her from the previous owners, its not complete and ranges from 1987 to 2002 I do haveall the paperwork since I've owned her. I took a picture of the folder it came in which shows an engine rebuild in 1987 but no receipt.

DOWN SIDE:

The clear coat is starting to come off in a few places, see pic. I paid for a lifetime guarantee on the paint job 3 years ago at a shop in Houston. They went out of business (I can’t find them)GRRRR!!!

Cracked windshield

I started replacing the upholstery, never finished but I have some of the parts that have yet to installed, please see pics.

I had the AC worked on at ashop here in Katy, that was a complete waste of money too. On the upside I have most of the housing etc. to fix it. Compressor is installed and working.

After looking at websites that put a value on classic cars like NADA, Hemmings etc. I think my buy it now is more than a fair price for my girl. NADA has low retail at over $19K and the onlyoptions I checked was Trans Am coupe with a 400 + 4-speed.

Email me with any questions. I will do my best to answer them promptly.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my BEASTIE GIRL!
