Description

You are bidding on a 1957 Pontiac safari 4 door wagon that is fairly straight. It is the shorter wheel base Chieftain. It was acquired in a estate sale and willbe sold witha Bill Of sale. It has sat in a building for the last 30+ years which explains the better condition it is in but it is still a 60 year old car. It has all the chrome on itexcept for the passenger tail light andhas some rust and damage(see Pictures). There is rust in some of the floor areas. It looks like it has the original drive train and the motor started but didn't run it long because it will need fluids changed, fuel lines flushed, etc.It has a second set of wing windows which is acool option. This is a great candidate for restoration or a bad ass rat rod with great patina. It doesn't look like it has been modified.I have this for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. The deposit is nonrefundable. You are buying this vehicleas is with no warranty. Good opportunity to own something you don't see very often.

The reason I am asking more for this wagon is because it is in very good unrestoredcondition for its age and is very complete. These Pontiac Safaris are getting harder to find especially ones as complete as this one. They made twice as many Chevy wagonsas they did the Pontiacs. It was stored inside for the last 30+ years and it shows on the car. If it doesn't sell high enough I will restore it myself and ask full price. If you want a complete car and easier restorable project this is it. I know what the car is worth and wont be low balled...........
