For sale is a 1950 Pontiac Tin Woody. Runs good, starts right up, and never overheats. Perfect candidate for a restoration, or just enjoy as is. All original, numbers matching, complete station wagon. California car,has spent most of its timein the central valley region. No rust, body is very straight. Allelectrical unitsand gauges work well, except for the speedometer, temperature gauge, cigarette lighter, horn, and radio. Brakes work well, and car shifts nicely. Has newly upholstered seats, matching the original style. Floors appear to be professionally replaced at sometime in the past.Radiator appears to have been replaced. Items replaced by me are:
Glove box, fuel lines, exhaust valves, head gasket, exhaust manifold and valve cover gaskets, parking brake cable, points, plugs, and condenser.
I've rebuilt the fuel pumpand carburetor, and had the gas tank boiled out and recoated, and the fuel sender rebuilt. Fuel system works great! When I pulled the head and replaced the exhaust valves, I noticed that the pistons appeared new. I can't verify for certain, but it appears that the engine was rebuilt not long ago. The compression is good in each cylinder, and it idles very smoothly.
Car is currently registered, will sell with clear title.
